Back to School time is upon us. But while kids across the Kansas City area are already back in the classroom, some of them don't have a place to call home.
The average age of a homeless person in Missouri is just 7 years old, but there is hope. Organizations like Hillcrest Transitional Housing are working to give homeless families the skills they need to succeed — while providing them a roof over their heads.
But Hillcrest Transitional Housing can't carry out their mission alone; community support is critical to their success. Auto Insurance Discounters is proud to support Hillcrest Transitional Housing — and if you're interested in helping out, there are plenty of opportunities for you to do just that this fall.
The 16th Annual Hillcrest Gala & Auction is coming up on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Independence, MO. Hillcrest Transitional Housing is looking for event sponsors, as well as donations for the event's silent auction.
If you'd like to help out, please fill out Hillcrest's Gala Donation Form.
Thank you for helping to make our community better!
